Hello, I'm Verena.

I build websites and apps, from the first sketch to launch. All developed myself, no page builder.

So far: five apps of my own. Vela is in the App Store, Zapmi and HerzKüche are in testing, and I run my own bookkeeping on Verena Büro. Alongside them, three client projects and websites in up to five languages. Zapmi uses end-to-end encryption and an emergency alert for which Apple granted a dedicated entitlement. I also help out with back-office work when things pile up.

What I hold myself to: you should always know where we stand. I tell you what I found, even when it is inconvenient, and I say it in words that need no explanation.

You do not need to know how it works

Most people arrive with something they cannot quite name. The site brings nothing in, everything looks different on a phone, an order gets stuck somewhere. You tell me what you want to achieve. I look into it, find out what is causing it, and tell you in plain words what I found. And if something is not my field, I say so and find you someone who does it.

Three apps, one account

They know each other

Zapmi, HerzKüche and Vela are three apps, but they work together. One account is enough, and whatever you create in one is there in the other. Each also works on its own.

A recipe becomes a shopping list

Open a recipe in HerzKüche and send the ingredients to the shopping list in Zapmi with one tap. Whoever reaches the shop first ticks them off, and everyone sees it.

Cooked means counted

Vela keeps track of what ends up on the plate. Cook from HerzKüche and Vela already knows the ingredients instead of guessing.

Zapmi holds it together

Chat, calendar, tasks, shopping list and school in one place. Secure and among yourselves, without a corporation reading along.

Invoice on the way out

Tap the client, pick the item from your price list, check the PDF, send. From your own mailbox, not from someone else's server.

Time with one tap

The stopwatch keeps running on your lock screen. You see how long you have been at something without opening the app, and you can stop it from there too.

Your little bookkeeper

It tells you what is still missing: gaps in your invoice numbers, forgotten drafts, payments without a date. It finds the gaps before the tax office does.

The project log

What happened on a project, day by day. Every entry has two versions: one for you, with causes and file names, and one for your client. Only the second one leaves the house.

The monthly report

At the end of the month it writes itself, from what you noted down anyway. As a PDF on your letterhead, alongside the invoice. If you are paid monthly, you must be able to show what for.

Meeting mode

During the meeting the left side shows what you need: what you last talked about, which invoice is still open, how many hours have added up. On the right you take notes, or you dictate.

Büro is not just the app on your phone. It runs just as well through your own website — at your address, in your colours, with your typeface and your logo. Anyone logging in there will not notice that someone else’s software is behind it.
